Fitzpatrick: Beautiful Bucks County is the Perfect Set
LANGHORNE, PA - Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (PA-8) released the following statement Monday on the possibility of director M. Night Shyamalan considering two Bucks County towns as possible settings for a new television project:
“It’s very exciting that Mr. Shyamalan is considering both Doylestown and Sellersville as possible sets for an upcoming TV project. Both locations provide the all-American, small town feel that have come to define many places around Bucks County.
As a native of Bucks County, former County Commissioner, and current Congressman I am pleased that Mr. Shyamalan is once again considering setting one of his productions in our area. Besides highlighting Bucks County’s diverse mix of rolling farms, woodlands, and urban settings, the project could provide an increase in economic activity in the area.
I am sure the noted director will find the tourist bureau and our elected officials- including myself- more than willing to help make filming in Bucks County possible and to accommodate his needs with the project.
I encourage Mr. Shyamalan to consider both of these Bucks County locations and would enjoy the opportunity to discuss with him or his staff the benefits of both great sites.”
Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick is serving his third term in the U.S. House of Representatives. He represents Pennsylvania’s 8th district which includes all of Bucks County as well as a portion of Montgomery County. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.
