Fitzpatrick Looking for Washington, D.C. Interns

WASHINGTON, D.C.  – Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (PA-8) is now accepting applications for Fall 2013 interns in his Washington, D.C. office.

Being involved in the daily interactions of a congressional office is an excellent opportunity for individuals to learn and grow both academically and professionally.

Interns will learn how to provide exceptional service to constituents in Pennsylvania’s 8th District. Congressman Fitzpatrick and his staff work hard to respond to the needs of the citizens within our district and any individual who interns will be called upon to do the same. Duties may include: answer phone calls, handling constituent communications, preparing briefing sheets, and/or staffing events.

Potential interns must complete the internship application provided by our office which is available at by clicking HERE or downloading the .pdf file below. Along with this application, interns must also submit a resume and cover letter, as well as two letters of recommendation.
