BRISTOL TOWNSHIP — The Monroe Foundation for Youth recently presented awards to outstanding youth for their service to the community and their athletic and academic achievements.
The awards ceremony was held Nov. 21 in Bristol Township. In addition to the Monroe Foundation Youth Achievement Award, U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-1, Middletown, presented attendees with a Congressional Award honoring their achievements.
Fitzpatrick also invited the honorees to be his guests in Washington, D.C.
Recognized were: Carolyn Elizabeth Austin, Noah Eckert, Sophia Faight, Christian Diaz Finch, Cierra Gibson, Patricia Monroe, Jaycia Parrish, Kerrigan Reilly, Jason Stock Jr. and Kieph Valentine Jr.
The Monroe Foundation for Youth, formerly known as the Monroe Foundation for Autism, was founded in 2009 and provides free programs to at-risk youth and youth on the autism spectrum.
