Washington, DC—Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-08) will spend Christmas Day visiting with U.S. Troops deployed to the Middle-East, who’s missions include military operations in Syria and Iraq.

Fitzpatrick will be in various undisclosed locations in the CENTCOM AOR in the Middle-East, serving Christmas dinner to troops, receiving classified briefings from military generals regarding ongoing military operations, and spending time with Pennsylvania-based troops serving in all branches of the U.S. Military who are deployed to various Middle-East locations.

Congressman Fitzpatrick has made a commitment to spend every Christmas Day with our troops deployed oversees. Last year, Fitzpatrick spent Christmas Day with U.S. Troops in Afghanistan. In 2007-2008, while serving as an FBI Special Agent, Fitzpatrick was embedded with U.S. Special Forces in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
