WASHINGTON, DC—Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01) will spend his third consecutive Christmas visiting with U.S. troops deployed in the Middle East, whose missions include critical operations in war theaters throughout the region.
Fitzpatrick will be in various undisclosed locations in the CENTCOM AOR in the Middle East, serving Christmas dinner to troops, receiving classified briefings from military generals regarding ongoing military operations, and spending time with native Pennsylvanians serving in all branches of the U.S. military who are deployed across the Middle East.
Congressman Fitzpatrick has made a commitment to spend the holidays with our troops deployed overseas, who are away from their families and loved ones. From 2007 to 2008, while serving as an FBI Special Agent, Fitzpatrick was embedded with U.S. Special Forces in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
