“In the five decades since Title IX was enacted, women and girls have been afforded unparalleled opportunities to flourish in sporting events and in the classroom. Thanks to this landmark law, more women and girls compete in athletics freely, and that progress is worth celebrating,” said Congressman Fitzpatrick. “Today and everyday, I am committed to protecting women and girls from discrimination, harassment, and violence based upon sex.”
