Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick released the following statement on the passing of Yardley resident and ALS Warrior Frank Mongiello:

"Frank Mongiello was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a remarkable advocate whose courage and determination profoundly moved and united our community. Confronted with the harsh realities of ALS, Frank refused to let his diagnosis define him. Instead, he channeled his strength into a mission of hope and purpose, dedicating his life to fighting for the rights of those with terminal illnesses. Through his tireless advocacy, he became a driving force behind The Trickett Wendler, Frank Mongiello, Jordan McLinn, and Matthew Bellina Right to Try Act, the historic and landmark law that bears his name and has given countless families the chance to fight for their loved ones. It was one of the greatest honors of my life to work alongside Frank as we authored this legislation and on other advocacy efforts over the years. His unyielding resolve and deep compassion were, and will always be, nothing short of inspiring.

I extend my prayers and heartfelt condolences to Frank's incredible wife Marilyn, their six children, and all who knew and loved him. Though Frank will be deeply missed, we will carry his indomitable spirit with us as we continue to fight for a cure in his honor. His legacy of courage, hope, and advocacy will endure, inspiring generations to come and reminding us of the power of resilience in the face of unimaginable challenges."
