WASHINGTON, DC –Today, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1) announced the Committee on House Administration has once again selected him to participate in the Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program.

It is a great honor to have an experienced member of the veteran community serve as a bridge between our local veterans and the federal government, ensuring we effectively advocate for our veterans' needs while delivering the personalized care and results they deserve," said Rep. Fitzpatrick. “As a long-time advocate for empowering our veterans, I thank Chairman Steil for affording us another opportunity to nurture the exceptional leadership skills of our military men and women and better serve our PA-1 veterans.

Over the past two years, US Army Captain and Green & Gold Congressional Aide Macklin Wagner has been an invaluable asset to our office and our local military community. CPT Wagner's shared experiences with our veterans allowed him to forge meaningful relationships and offer unique perspectives, enhancing our ability to serve and support our PA-1 veterans and their families. I extend my sincere thanks to CPT Wagner for his service and dedication to our community and look forward to continuing the success of this incredible initiative.”

“The Green & Gold Congressional Fellowship has allowed me to successfully transition from the military to a crucial and rewarding civilian career,” said US Army Captain Macklin Wagner. “My work in the Veteran community in Bucks and Montgomery Counties has given me the opportunity to continue to serve our Nation’s heroes while at the same time, enabling me to learn from and share with my fellow brothers and sisters in arms. I am incredibly grateful to Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, the House of Representatives, and our community for giving me the chance to give back and improve the lives of those who protected ours.”

“The Green and Gold Aide Program ensures that Congressional offices across the country are helping veterans and their families,” said Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil (WI-01). “Representative Fitzpatrick’s participation in this program will help ensure veterans in PA-1 are well served.”
