Washington, D.C. – Tonight, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1) is honored to welcome Zeyneb Kir as his guest for the Joint Address to Congress—a young woman whose drive, dedication, and passion for service embody the very best of Pennsylvania’s First District and the promise of America’s future.

A junior at Bucks County Technical High School, Zeyneb is already making her mark as a rising leader in the healthcare industry, excelling in the school’s competitive dental health program while gaining hands-on experience at a pediatric dental hospital. The daughter of Gul and Koskal Kir, who immigrated from Turkey over 20 years ago to build a better life, Zeyneb grew up in Levittown alongside her three siblings. Inspired by her parents’ journey, she has embraced every challenge as an opportunity to grow, proving that in America, success is not predetermined by circumstance—it is shaped by hard work, perseverance, and the courage to dream big. Set to graduate in 2026, she plans to continue her studies and pursue a career in healthcare, using her talents to give back to her community and uplift others on their own path to success.

“Zeyneb represents the future of Bucks County, the future of Pennsylvania, and the future of this nation,” said Congressman Fitzpatrick. “Her story is a testament to the promise of America—that through hard work, education, and opportunity, anything is possible. When we invest in career and technical education, strengthen workforce development, and expand access to high-demand job training, we aren’t just preparing students for careers—we’re empowering them to lead, innovate, and build a stronger nation.”

Fitzpatrick has been a longtime champion for career and technical education, securing funding to ensure students like Zeyneb have access to hands-on training, real-world experience, and the skills to thrive in a competitive workforce. Bucks County is home to two of the nation’s top technical schools—Bucks County Technical High School and Upper Bucks County Technical School—institutions that are shaping the future of industry, healthcare, and innovation.

“Bucks County has always been a place where hard work and determination pave the way to success, and young leaders like Zeyneb prove that legacy is stronger than ever,” Fitzpatrick continued. “Her story is one of resilience, ambition, and hope. She reminds us that when we invest in young people, we don’t just strengthen individual futures—we build a stronger, more prosperous America for generations to come.”
