Langhorne, PA – Today, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1) announced that he has secured a $1,200,000 Community Project Funding (CPF) grant for the Tullytown Borough Revitalization Project.
The CPF was introduced by Fitzpatrick into the FY2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act as a part of the Community Project Funding program—an initiative that allows Members of Congress to target federal funds for projects and programs within their districts to address the most significant needs facing their communities.
This funding will unlock transformative infrastructure improvements in Old Tullytown Borough, setting the stage for a vibrant revitalization. Key projects include the complete overhaul of Main Street with modern streetscaping and the reconstruction of the central municipal parking lot, which connects residents and visitors to the borough's ballfields, parks, trails, and playgrounds. These upgrades—featuring new curbs, sidewalks, decorative lighting, trees, seating, and ADA-compliant intersections—will create a safer, more inviting environment. By enhancing access to public amenities and fostering a pedestrian-friendly streetscape, this investment will drive economic growth, attract new opportunities, and ensure Tullytown Borough thrives as a dynamic, welcoming community for all.
“Tullytown Borough is extremely grateful for Congressman Fitzpatrick’s hard work and leadership in securing funding to support our efforts to revitalize our community. These funds will allow us to make much needed improvements to our roads and streets, that will make Tullytown an even better place to live, work, and raise a family,” stated Borough Councilman Bryan Service.
“Tullytown Borough and its residents hold a special place in our community, which is why I was proud to fight for this transformative $1.2 Million investment to fuel its future. This funding will be a powerful catalyst for substantial economic growth, providing a vital boost for small businesses and making Tullytown an even more vibrant place to live and work. This project will undoubtedly breathe new life into the heart of the Borough, creating lasting opportunities and fortifying the community for generations to come. I am thrilled about Tullytown's ongoing renaissance and look forward to continuing to collaborate with the Borough's leadership as we bring this project to fruition,” said Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1).
